Life isn't always fair

I just found out that my advisor is extending her medical leave at least another three months. She is having spinal fusion surgery which is a good reason to need sick leave. It's really to bad that she can't seem to get healthy. Hopefully next year she will be up and running and she can be a "real" advisor for me.

On a masters proposal note, It turns out that there are gender differences in levels of empathy, but no gender differences in dispositional forgiveness. Weird. People who are more committed to religion place a higher value on forgiveness than those who are less committed to their religion.

On a cat note, Penny must think that I am sitting on something interesting because she is trying her darndest to get at it with her paws.
