Just one week

Aghhhhh! I hate school and want to quit. I just want one week where I feel just a little in control and one week where I feel like I have the energy to actually do something except look forward to bedtime.

cleaning, grading, homework, cooking

that's what I did today. The cleaning was satisfying. The cooking/baking was tasty. The grading was annoying. the homework was homework. Liz baked fresh bread again today....we put water in a pan now and it makes the crust extra crusty and the middle more gooey. Back to grading now.

School started

In two of my classes the professors decided to assign readings that the students were suppossed to have completed by the first class meeting. The kicker is that they never told us to dothe reading ahead of time. This means that we are already swamped because we are starting out the semester already behind in my work. I also killed about two trees printing off all those readings that I would need over the next few weeks. I could feel Al Gore weeping.

I'm baking bread right now. I hope it turns out.

The heat was messed up in the room where I have my 3 hour lecture so we spent 3 hours sweating and trying not to be to grumpy.

On the brighter side, the cat is still cute and everyone should wander over to Liz's blog to watch videos of the thing chasing its tail. We realize that cat chasing their tails is not an original concept, but we still think it's funny to watch.
